On April 17, 18, 19, 2008 Tessa's Hope Foundation, Blanding Rotary, Blanding Chamber, and The Department of Workforce Services are sponsoring some fantastic events to raise money for families who have children with Autism. Proceeds will go to Tessa's Hope Foundation.

Mission:
The mission of Tessa's Hope is to gather in children that are on the Austism Spectrum through education, out reach resources, and provide education and support, including respite care to give hope to families with children with autism.

Goals of Tessa's Hope: 50% Education, 40% Respite care, and 10% Administration.

There are 4 main events on April 17-19, 2008:

Century Ride (April 19, 2008)
First event is the Century ride 100 miles through beautiful Southern Utah and Natural Bridges National Monument, one of Utah's first National Monuments. You can choose the shorter rides of 30 and 50 miles. Map of Route

Second is the fat tire (Mountain Bike) ride (Family fun ride) from Goosenecks State Park to and through the Valley Of the Gods (27 miles, 17 on gravel). This ride takes in some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world including giant red sand stone pillars. For those who want a more challenging ride option B will add more than a 1000 ft climb up Moki Dugway, where one can look into valley of the Gods or see some of the monuments from famous Monument Valley (60 miles, 40 on gravel). Corvette Tour
Third is the Corvette Tour. This will be a two day event. Starting on April 17, 2008 Starting in Blanding and going out to Monument valley and back. Ride includes seeing into Valley of the Gods, Mexican Hat, Monument Valley , Le Capitan Rock and Historic Pioneers Square in Bluff . The Second day April 18, 2008 the Tour Starts in Blanding and goes west to Lake Powell and Back. Ride includes Mule canyon Indian ruins, Natural Bridges National Monument, Beautiful Lake Powell including crossing the lake in a ferry. Map of Routes

Big Bike Ride
Big Bike Ride is also a two day event. First day (April 18, 2008) will be the Monument Valley tour, see Corvette tour above. Second day (April 19, 2008) will be the Lake Powell Tour, also see description above in Corvette tour.

All rides cost the same amount, $75.00 each or Group/Family/Clubs of 3 or more is $50.00 each. Participants may ride any of the rides (unless filled to capacity); participants will be provided a ticket to concert and a t-shirt. All rides are limited so act fast and get your registrations in.

Concert
Friday night April 18, 2008. This concert is free to all ride participants. Others not participating in the Riding events may also enjoy the concert with a donation made at the door. The concert event begins at 7:00 pm, located at the Arts and Events center at 200 South 650 West, College of Eastern Utah San Juan Campus, Blanding, Utah.
